Careers Through Reading at Seaham

Students from the Newcastle University have been visiting Seaham School each Thursday during the second half of term three. They are presenting a great program called 'Careers through Reading". The program, for year five, shows the students how reading can open up a whole world of opportunities and guide and focus them into future employment options.

Principal Mr Craig Partridge speaks really highly of all the programs offered by the Newcastle University.

"This program along with the fantastic 'Careers through Science' program has really given our students an understanding of what is possible for them in the future. The University students are fantastic and our students really love the sessions" Mr Partridge said.
