2014 Fund Raising

Thanks to all the families and friends who have made all of our fundraising activities for 2014 such a huge success.  Majority of the money raised this year is going towards the upgrade of the school sports court into a multi-purpose facility.

Mango's

Again this year we have tried another different fund raising opportunity, which was the Mangos.  From all accounts this has been a huge success with many families enjoying delicious fresh Mangos.  This fund raiser made $1000 profit.

Shopping Trip to Sydney: 1st November

A great day out with load of fun and shopping to be had.  This was a good opportunity to enjoy a spot of shopping, get prepared for Christmas and catch up with other parents from the school.

School Performance: 3 - 4 September

The school performance was an exceptional showcase of the wonderful talent we have across the school with all students involved in the performance in one aspect or another it brings the whole community together.  The P&C proudly support this bi-annual event by providing refreshments and programs.  This profit raised from the performances was $1258.

Thanks to all involved for another great event.

Masters BBQ: 6th September

This years BBQ was again another successful event with loads of parents offering assistance to man the BBQ across the day.  A huge thanks to everyone who came along to assist or support the BBQ.  the BBQ raised $500 profit.

Movie Night

Movie Night was a new fun activity that was introduced this year and the kids had a wonderful time. Wearing their PJ's hanging out with their friends having dinner and watching a movie, who could ask for more fun!

Movie Night raised $1074 profit.

Athlete's Foot School Rewards Program – All Year

This program continues to be successful with the school receiving over $300 in funds just from out school families and friend purchasing shoes and mentioning the school.

Newcastle Permanent 'Introducers Program' - All year

The school received a cheque for $600 this year by being part of this program.  If anyone takes out a home or business loan over $100,000 with Newcastle Perm and mentions the school name we receive $600.

PJ and Movie Night

Our first PJ and Movie night was a great success with all the kids enjoying themselves.  What could be more fun than being snuggled closely in the hall eating BBQ, Popcorn and treats, in your PJ's with your friends while watching a movie.   Raising $1074 great effort everyone!

Thanks to the kids for being so well behaved and to all the helpers who make these events come together!.

Battery World Fundraising Program (Terms 1 & 2 2014)

With the support of Battery World Maitland, our school will be participating in a battery recycling program during Terms 1 and 2.

Congratulations on supporting such a great fundraiser!

We have recycled over 1000 kgs of batteries raising a total of $2000.00.  Exceeding all expectations.  Thanks to everyone for your support.

A huge thanks to Battery World Maitland for this great initiative.

Our raffle in Term 1 was a great success raising $1251.  Thanks to everyone who purchased tickets to support our school.

Fund-Raising 2013

The fund-raising efforts of the P&C for this year are to support the school in the following areas:

  • Assist with rollout and implementation of Technology within the school.
    • Specifically to assist the school with the purchase of 1 Smart board and the school will purchase 1 so as all classrooms have this technology
    • When ready work with the school to implement iPad banks for use in any classroom within the school
  • Upgrade the current tennis court facility to a functioning multi-purpose court facility.

Mothers Day Raffle – May 2013

The Mothers Day raffle this year was a great success.  Thanks to everyone who sold tickets and to the wonderful parents and businesses that donated the prizes, without your support these raffles would not be possible.

We raised $630 from the raffle which will again go towards our fund-raising goals for this year.

Living Fund-Raiser - March 2013

The Living fund-raiser offers healthy and family-friendly products. We encourage everyone to support the P&C by selling all the items in your carry bag.  The living fundraiser individual packs are $6 each and your whole bag sent home is $60. Each family was supplied a mixed bag with some Vegetables, Herbs and Flowers.

Your contribution to this fundraiser will make a huge difference in what we are able to achieve and how we can support the school.

Thanks to everyone for your support of this fundraiser, we made a profit of $1283

 

Fete - October 2013
