Court Upgrade 2014/2015
Over 2 years ago the P&C commenced fund-raising to complete a significant upgrade project to the Tennis Court located in the school grounds. The upgrade project was to provide the school with a full size multi-purpose Netball and Basketball court. To provide all students the opportunity to utilise during break times as well as Sport and PE. Also providing the school the opportunity to host PSSA Netball and Basketball games at our school.
This has been a huge project that would not have been complete without the significant assistance of some local businesses, along with the massive fund-raising efforts of the P&C and the hours of work many of the school families have contributed.

The total spend from the P&C on this upgrade project has been just over $46000.
Existing Court
The existing Tennis Court had been a feature at the school for over 30 years and was in need of significant repairs to the surface to allow any sports to be played on it safely.
Preparation
Removing all the existing fencing and trees where the root systems had affected the courts surface.
Construction - Widening of Existing Court Area
The upgrade of the court involved widening the existing surface to allow for the full size court to be installed along with a safe run off area surrounding the new court.
Bring in the Fill
Thanks to Hanson Quarry for the donation of the fill materials to complete this phase of the upgrade
Earthworks complete and Install the posts
Thanks to Price Constructions for the amazing job in completing all the earthworks, this job turned out to be much larger than first anticipated with the sub surface under the old court needing to be fully replaced.
Asphalt
Our amazing new surface, thanks to Ian Rich Asphalt for all of their work to deliver our project within our budget requirements.
