The sweet smell of hot pancakes filled the air as Seaham celebrated 'Mother's Day' with a special breakfast at school. A huge roll up of mothers, grandmothers, aunties and carers were on hand to enjoy fresh pancakes, yogurt and juice prepared by staff at the school. The traditional 'Mother's Day' stall was then run by the P&C with all students securing a special gift for their special person. One cheeky mum was heard to say 'Where's the bacon and eggs?' in reference to the food at the 'father's Day' breakfast last year. Mr Partridge, school Principal, thanked his staff for their amazing efforts.
"It was a great event. The staff were here early and went above and beyond. The smiles on the faces of students and their special guests made it all worthwhile."
